| Cubic’s
instrumented ground combat training systems allow observer-controllers
to track participants and vehicle movements in near real-time,
and record the information for playback during After Action Reviews
(AARs). Our new PC-Range Instrumentation System (PC-RIS)
provides Exercise Control and AAR capabilities on personal or
laptop computers.
MAJOR
SUBSYSTEMS:
- Exercise
Control Center (EXCON) - The hub of the training exercise
where observers/ controllers/analysts can monitor and record
battlefield activity and initiate area weapons events.
- After
Action Review (AAR) Facilities - Fixed or Mobile AAR
units that include a multimedia presentation where troops
receive objective replay and review of the exercise.
- Digital
Communications Network - Provides the capability for
real-time monitoring and exercise control. It is the Radio
Frequency (RF) link between the EXCON and the soldier/vehicle
instrumentation
- Instrumentation
Equipment - Participant instrumentation that tracks
position, product weapons events, report status and more.
Includes manworn, vehicle and helicopter kits. GPS and other
techniques are used to determine location, and battlefield
compatible RF is used to communicate with EXCON.
