Supporting Regional Operations, Exercises and Contingency Planning
Cubic’s Information Operations Division supports the U.S. Pacific Command in the administration, development and execution of the Multinational Planning Augmentation Team (MPAT) Program and designated multinational exercises/MPAT events. This support includes:
- Event concept development
- Event execution management
- Event preparation monitoring
- Logistics support coordination
- Foreign participation coordination
- Multinational Force Standing Operating Procedures development
- Web site creation and maintenance for access by all participating nations
- Support of major U.S. Pacific Command exercises
- Support of U.S. Pacific Command response to regional contingencies such as Unified Assistance (Indian Ocean tsunami 2004/2005) and Caring Response (Cyclone Nargis-Burma)
- Support of regional and international forums: ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations), UN OCHA (Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs); ICRC (International Committee of the Red Cross)
- Support of Department of Defense, United Nations and civilian agency coordination programs
