Live Training Support
Creating the most realistic live training environment possible for deploying units is the goal of Cubic’s team at the National Training Center (NTC) at Fort Irwin, California. The NTC supports predeployment training for Heavy, Infantry and Stryker Brigade Combat Teams, special operations and joint forces, and has trained the majority of all armor and infantry units supporting operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Capabilities
- Replicate, simulate, synchronize and coordinate all phases of rotational force on-force and live-fire exercise planning, execution and control
- Provide doctrinally sound, tactically correct, realistic and chronological tactical and administrative control products
- Plan the employment and create roles for Civilians on the Battlefield (COB)
- Tailor scenarios specifying training objectives and create Mission Essential Task Lists (METLs)
- Role-play political, military, COB, country team, Military Assistance Advisory Group (MAAG), Non Government Organizations (NGO), Civilian Affairs and Psychological Operations functions
- Prepare and produce opposing force (OPFOR) combat instructions supporting the training objectives
- Plan and control all rotational unit live-fire exercises in line with current doctrine and unit training objectives
- Develop realistic training scenarios for Special Operations Forces (SOF) elements
